Participating in PRIMUN

 

PRIMUN is open to middle and high school students accompanied by an advisor although

exceptions are made with experienced MUN'ers as unaccompanied delegates with a parental permission slip.

PRIMUN  hosts three (3) leveled committees : beginners, intermediate and advanced (Security Council).The beginner's committee is open to delegates with little or no Model UN experience.

Procedural rules are American / UNA-USA style in which resolutions are debated and written in collaboration

with other delegates in committee; no prewritten resolutions are allowed.

​

Committees are chaired in English and staffed by American university students with extensive MUN

experience. Our staffers have included students from UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego and Stanford University. Committee awards are given for Best Position Paper, Honorable Mentions, Outstanding Delegate

International Delegate Invitations and Accommodations

 

PRIMUN will provide an invitation letter for international delegations.

 

Special PRIMUN rates are available at Hotel Mets - Mizonokuchi station in Kawasaki. These rooms are limited

and will go quickly due to the number of tourists during the Olympics. Hotel Mets is only a 5 - minute walk

to the conference venue; rates include breakfast and wifi. Please note that accommodations are not

included in the PRIMUN registration fee.
